The Lorax review
The Lorax is a class book by Dr. Seuss that teaches children about the importance of environmental care and awareness. This book is perfect for Earth day, Environment week, or any other time you may be teaching about taking care of the planet. I could think of countless activities to go along with this including making a class recycling bin, planting a tree, or visiting a recycling plant. I would use this book for grades K - 3rd. The Guided Reading Level is N and the Lexile level is 560L.
